Safety Supervision

Fall prevention is critical when it comes to the care of your loved one. Our caregivers will remain by their side to assist them in all ways possible to prevent falls or other personal injury.

Dressing & Grooming

Caregivers can help select clothing and dress your loved one as well as assist with grooming such as putting on make-up, styling hair and shaving.

Toileting & Bathing

Bathrooms are an accident prone area of the home. Caregivers can be there to assist your loved one in the shower, tub or while toileting. They may also help sponge bathe when necessary.

Transportation/Appointments

Caregivers may accompany your loved one to doctor’s appointments, religious services, beauty salons, barber shops etc. Caregivers may also run errands like grocery shopping.

Laundry

Caregivers can assist with washing clothes, linens and other personal belongings. They can even bring items for dry cleaning when necessary.

Light Housekeeping

It’s extremely important to ensure the home is clean, orderly & in safe condition. Organizing, cleaning after food preparation, dusting, vacuuming and changing linens are all services your caregiver can provide.

Congenial Companionship

Engaging in warm & friendly conversation & provide emotional support. Encouraging clients to engage in activities that promote well-being and stimulate the mind and spirit such as reading or playing board games.

Light Exercise/Ambulation

Caregivers may assist and encourage light exercise and ambulation, when prescribed by your loved one’s personal doctor.

Dementia Care

Caregivers can assist by offering care that focuses on simple choices & redirecting along with techniques and activities that engage the mind and body. Alzheimer’s, Creutzfeldt-Jakob, Lewy Body, Frontotemporal, Huntington’s, Korsakoff, Etc.

Functional Mobility

Caregivers are trained to assist your loved one when they require assistance with transferring, positioning or lifting and have experience using devices such as hoyer lifts and gait belts.

Incontinence Care

Ensure proper hygiene by assisting with bedding, skin care, changing and disposal of incontinence care products while preserving dignity and self-esteem.
